Little Barn, dating back to the 17th Century, and once a humble cowshed was converted in to a holiday home 10 years ago and offers the appeal of rustic living and a bright, contemporary twist.

Only two miles from some of the best beaches in North West Norfolk, you'll find a quiet location at the hub of a spider's web of country roads, making the whole area extremely accessible without as much needing to use main coast roads other than to cross them.

Whether you want a  Norfolk base to tour from by car or bike, Little Barn makes an ideal base. For walking holidays, you'll find we're only minutes away from Peddars Way, connecting to the Norfolk Coastal Footpath and a labyrinth of footpaths.

Visit one of the stunning beaches every day that surround us, from Hunstanton to Wells and beyond, and after a week you'll have done little more than dip your toe in the water. Long, long beaches, backed by dunes boasting space, big skies, remoteness and freedom - a delight for walkers and ramblers and pure heaven for kids building castles in the air or sandcastles by the water's edge.

If it's golf or bird watching within 5 miles you'll find the best. The famous coastal bird reserves at RSPB Snettisham and RSPB Titchwell are outstanding. Hunstanton Golf Course and Royal West Norfolk are but a stone's throw.

If it's sailing that rocks your boat …. You can hire dinghies and canoes from Northshore at Brancaster Staithe where there is a beautiful, tidal harbour to explore and Scolt Head Island which can only be reached by boat at high tide. One of our best kept secrets! 

If you would just like to go out to a beach on the ferry, go to Burnham Overy Staithe but make sure the tide is in cos it's a long walk if you miss it!
